This really is a gorgeous book. The full color pages pop right out at you and make the how-to information all the easier to understand and follow. Once you get this book you can see why the Mitchell’s home was featured on [...] scariest home haunts. But don’t let that deter you! Anyone can follow the information the Mitchells provide to make their home spooktacular for the season. I’ve been home haunting for 9 years and I learned a thing or two from this book. Seasoned haunter or n00b, you will love book 1 of “How to Haunt Your House”.

Everything about this book is great, in my opinion. I highly recommend it! Easy instructions, incredible pictures. Even credit where credit is due (“Monster Mud” – Terror Syndicate). A lot of these folks I have heard of, or been to their sites, and I trust their directions to work, and work well, to the most haunting effect possible. [...]. Follow the directions, you will have phenomenal effects, and much easier than you might imagine. Even I can do it!

How To Haunt Your House
Let me just say that the tips and props in this book are not meant for the blood-and-gore-type of “decorating”, but more like for a run-down abandoned creepy feel. The tips and instructions are completely laid out and beautifully photographed, AND are even wallet-friendly. If handled properly, the props can survive several years, supplies could be scavenged, and I dare say some props could even be used for other holidays or parties. And I appreciate the encouragement given by the authors. No matter your crafting skill-level, the instructions are easy to follow and can be modified or built upon. This book is expensive (self published?) but I found it to be worth it.
